Refrigeration Mechanic

Bennett Sheet Metal Ltd is a family-owned and operated company that has been serving the Comox Valley for sixty years. We are currently looking to add a HVAC Service Technician/Refrigeration Mechanic to our busy residential/light commercial heating team.

Job Qualifications:

Valid BC drivers license

Assets:

Class B gas fitting ticket
Red seal refrigeration mechanic
Motivation to complete tasks in a timely manner
Mechanical aptitude / diagnostic instincts
Experience with sheet metal and duct systems

Job Duties:

occasionally work remotely (out of town)
work with others or independently
install residential & light commercial HVAC systems
plan, measure and install gas piping, venting and equipment
test and complete start-ups on various equipment
climb ladders/working at heights
use power tools, threading machines etc.
keep work van, warehouse, job site clean and organized
provide excellent customer service with every customer interaction

Experience with gas heating, air conditioning, heat pumps and mini splits is a must. Journeymen/apprentices welcome to apply.
